Fanatics and astronomers alike have been up early this morning hoping for clear skies to view the annular photo voltaic eclipse. Climate wasn’t a difficulty in London, Ontario as you may see in these beautiful photos.

Based on the Canadian House Company throughout an annular eclipse “the Moon is nearer to the Solar; therefore the Moon seems smaller than the Solar. A hoop of sunshine from the Solar is at all times seen.” Elements of Canada will see a complete photo voltaic eclipse on April 8, 2024.

The next photos have been supplied by Dale Armstrong of the London chapter of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada.
